Recorded live at Häiriöjatsit Telakka, Tampere in 2011 by Ilpo Heikkinen. Can Can Heads without bass this time, but added with three Mohel saxes.

Here are two guys from the band Black Motor. They are the ones who are not sitting down while playing; sax player Sami Sippola and Ville Rauhala on double bass. They began to rehearse by themselves while the drummer Simo Laihonen was doing some travelling. The result was a duo that approaches jazz from both traditional and contemporary directions. Music is improvised, but loosely based on melodies that come and go. We just fell in love with their studio recording.

"It was a sunny sunday morning, the day after our first ever gig in Kauhajoki, hometown for most of the band. The general mood was hungover, challenging, tired and a bit hilarious. For the first time ever the whole band was present at the same time during a recording session. All songs were sort of improvised straight to minidisc in one take except Black Listed, Lick Blasted riff was created a couple nights before and took two takes."
